janefontane is a young Australian printmaker currently based in Sydney, Australia.
Working primarily in screen-printing, Jane seeks to explore contemporary notions of childhood, and the concept of the construction of the individual. Through her work, Fontane searches for the innocence left behind in us all.
Currently finalising a Masters of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts in Paddington, Sydney, Fontane is exhibited internationally and is currently showing in London, Sydney and Perth. Her works centre around childhood iconography of the late 1980s.
